Kalyan (Ravi Teja) is a guy who loves challenges and cannot live without getting a "kick" out of doing things. For example, he drinks milk before bed but only after sniffing whiskey because that's doing it with a "kick."
He falls in love with Naina (Ileana D'Cruz) for a "kick," but she leaves him after Kalyan lies about his job (he joins a job and resigns after four days). He is also supported by his father (Sayaji Shinde), who believes in his lifestyle.
Naina goes to Malaysia after this ordeal, where her father fixes her marriage with a tough cop kalyan krishna(shaam). However, Kalyan Krishna has a mission. He is there to catch a notorious thief (Ravi Teja) who has been stealing money from rich people in India, and got away with it.
There is a comedy arc as a love triangle starts between Kalyan Krishna, Naina and Kalyan.

It was received with mixed critical responses. Some gave it good reviews, in spite of the lack of a good story, for its humour. Critics found fault with the film's contrived philosophy sugar-coated with excessive commercial elements.
The film opened to a tremendous response. This film is the biggest hit in Ravi Teja's career. Kick completed 50 days in 220 centers, of which 200 were in Andhra Pradesh.[3] The film was declared a blockuster and was the only success for the Tollywood industry that summer..
It grossed 25 crores at its end run.[1] It also completed 100 days in 52 theaters.
